ICS After School Program (2023)

You are invited to the ICS After-School Program for the 2023/2024 year. The program is part of ICS’s Youth Department’s mission to facilitate youth development through prevention and intervention. Driven by participants’ input, this middle school program provides homework assistance, specialty clubs, and theme-oriented activities. Themes include practical principles for successful living; youth leadership skills; literacy; STEM; selecting the best high school for you; and strategies for academic achievement. Experienced and certified youth workers staff the program and operate after-school throughout the school year.

Please note, that to successfully enroll, you must:
1: Fill out the Virtual Application that is on the registration steps below.
2: Attend Family Registration on August 31st, 2023, at 3:00pm. If you cannot, attend please send another adult in your place.

The ICS After-School Registration forms will be located at the following website where you will be able to fill the application out electronically.
Once your application is submitted, It will appear in our systems.
STEP 1: To start the process, visit this website discoverdycd.dycdconnect.nyc/home
STEP 2: On the top right-hand corner of the page, please CREATE an account and SIGN in.
STEP 3: Click “Dashboard” on the top LEFT-hand corner of the webpage.
A) Add all applicants (your children) that you are interested in enrolling.
STEP 4: Go back to the TOP left-hand corner of the webpage and click “Search Programs”
A) In keyword search, type “Paula Hedbavny School.”
B) Click “Search and scroll down”
C) Elementary will appear first; second will be middle
D) Please sign up for the correct program elementary and middle school are two different criteria.
