Cafe Day – Apple Crisp Recipe!
On October 22, the 4th and 5th Graders had a WITS cafe day where they made yummy Apple Crisp. See the recipe below and happy eating!
Apple Crisp Recipe
Classroom/ 1 Hotel Pan
- 20 apples, cut into slices
- 3 Cups light brown sugar, divided
- 1 Cup whole wheat flour (or regular flour), divided
- 3 Cups quick cook oatmeal
- 1 Tbs. ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 lb very cold butter cut into small dice (2 stick)
- Juice ½ lemon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
