Cultural Event 2010

On Wednesday, February 3rd, the students, teachers, faculty and parents of PS/MS 278 celebrated the many wonderful cultures of our school community! The event highlighted the things that make us unique, but also reminded us of what binds us together.

As an enthusiastic crowd cheered, the students performed in a magnificent program that honored the heritages and traditions of countries like the Dominican Republic, Spain, Mexico, Italy, Japan, Albania and Pakistan. They danced, sang, read to us in their native languages, and dressed in beautifully hand-crafted crafted costumes. Congratulations to all who participated in this magnificent and inspirational tribute to our 278 family!

Congratulations to Ms. Stiel and the PS/MS 278 Music Program!
