Whether your child seeks homework assistance, additional support, or wishes to catch up on missed work, this program provides an invaluable opportunity that we strongly encourage you to explore!

We planted Daffodils and Mulched Our Trees!

The NYC Parks Department dropped off mulch for our trees on 219th street on 10/22/2022 at 9am – and we want to thank you everyone who volunteered for all your hard work on the street trees by PS 278. The addition of mulch will help the trees grow better, improve the soil, and help keep water accessible for their roots. Planting bulbs will also make 218th street beautiful in the spring.

In Honor of Mr. King

At our PTA Meeting on June 15th at 6:30pm we honored Mr. Everton King (September 28, 1962 – February 13, 2022).

Mr. King cared for our school community with love and kindness.
He welcomed our students, families, teachers and staff with a smile.

We remember Mr. King as a person of integrity and humor who put his heart and soul into ensuring the safety and security of our school community.
