Upcoming State Exams’ Schedule

We encourage all students to approach these assessments with confidence, knowing that they have been diligently preparing with the support of our dedicated staff!

One of the most important ways families can support their students is in ensuring students get a good night’s sleep the night before a test and that the students have a good breakfast before school (or arrive here at 7:30 for school provided breakfast). Please make note of the following testing dates:

• ELA April 11-12 for grades 3-6
• ELA April 15-16 for Grades 7, 8, and 152 (Computer-based testing)
• Math May 7 and 8 for all grades 3-8
• Science May 15 for grades 5 & 8
• Algebra Regents June 4 for grade 8

We planted Daffodils and Mulched Our Trees!

The NYC Parks Department dropped off mulch for our trees on 219th street on 10/22/2022 at 9am – and we want to thank you everyone who volunteered for all your hard work on the street trees by PS 278. The addition of mulch will help the trees grow better, improve the soil, and help keep water accessible for their roots. Planting bulbs will also make 218th street beautiful in the spring.
